Beautiful Day.

What a beautiful day, Ive been over to Kanban today to work on lots of new kits. All very exciting for the forth coming months.....
I really enjoyed driving over on my own, music blaring out_ Lady Gaga a particular favourite at the moment! Bad Romance....seems quite appropriate. singing at the top of my voice(infact sore throat now) Reminds me of many hours I spent when I was younger driving round country lanes listening to music. Its quite theraputic really, helps to clear the mind and lift the spirit. In fact I always find music lifts me, I'm due for a night out dancing. So enjoyed hitting the dancefloor on my recent holiday. May have to try and line something up for this weekend me thinks. Dance myself fit sounds like a good idea. Now I have lost 2 stone -toning time want to get the beach body back for my next trip, which I hope wont be too long in coming.
Well Im going to eat now and try and do some work, try being the operative word.
Have a lovely evening,
love
Dawn xx

  1. Yes it's been a wonderful sunshiny day and with the wind in your hair as you drive and the music up loud, all the cares of the world can disappear even if it's just for a short while. Enjoy strutting your stuff on the dance floor, I'm sure you will be surrounded by your favorite group of friends, and will be able to keep that spirit lifted.
Take care and chin up we are out here to support you whenever you need a lift. Jo x

  4. Ooh I'll be looking forward to seeing the new kits .... does that mean they are going to be even better than you're last ones, which means more money to be spent!? LOL. I know what you mean about loud music when you are driving, especially when the sun is driving, it seems to make you feel so much better doesn't it. Glad you seem to be feeling better Dawn and am very jealous that you have lost 2 stone .... Take care, Claire x

  7. Dawn, just to say that the Kanban TSV is wonderful- am enjoying playing with it. Good to read that you've been singing- it does lift the mood, doesn't it? Tho' when I sing, am not so sure it lifts my listeners' mood!!Driving and singing alone is great, and safer for my friends' ears- that way I can sing my heart out, and not worry about the response, solo car-sings are the way to go... :) Do take time for yourself, and remember that we are all here in blog/craft/qvc world for you.
Wishing you calm, health and lots of car-sings!
    xx Cathy

  9. Morning Dawn, Lovely to read your messages. Lovely day here. A bit cloudy but it feels as if Spring is almost here. Got my Retro car stamps yesterday and used them right away--very clear and easy to use. Something for Father's day seems to be on the cards--sorry, bad pun.
Keep well and busy. When my husband died, only friends, family and work saved me.
    Very best wishes to you

  17. hi dawn-greatest song to boost your spirit is by Queen....."Don't stop me now".
its a personal fave tho I am not a big fan of queen. Discovered it by chance on a low day and you know what ....the words say it all. it will make you determined to get going- you CAN do it and "nothings gonna stop you" give it a blast (big volume of course !) makes me smile EVERY time
    take care
