Events Forthcoming....

Hello everyone,
Ive been a bit tired this week, and tryimg desperately to get my new designs done. So much to fit in at the moment. Although I did manage to fit in a bit of top up tanning this weekend!!!It was so hot... I dont think I have ever had my bikini on at home in the garden before?! I definately brought some sunshine home with me.
Well its a busy week ahead, 2-4pm tomorrow and then 2-5pm 'Christmas crafting' on wednesday. Yes you heard that right CHRISTMAS is coming the goose is getting fat....and all that jazz. It has been weird making christmas cards this week in the glorious sunshine, I always find it a bit tough to get them started but they are rolling on soon after. I know lots of you are already getting started if your making and selling them-so hopefully we will have some inspiration for you.
Just to update you as well I have the brilliant Suze Weinberg coming to make a guest appearence in my show on Tuesday the 8th June. Slight changes the shows will be at 2pm and 6pm not in a 2 hour block as normal. Suze will be off course showcasing her melt pot and much much more.....
Suze will also be joining me in my store on saturday 5th June. she will be demonstrating in the morning and afternoon - covering all her fabulous techniques including beeswax... not to be missed. If you would like to meet Suze in the flesh( and myself,yes i will be there 11am until 4pm - the first time in many months demoing)then check out my company website or call 01254356501 for more information. There is no fee to attend but everyone who preregisters to come will get a free product goody bag... book your place now, it will be great fun.
If you cant make the saturday then on sunday Amy will be in store demoing so pop along then.
Do remember the store is fully air conditioned,and we serve free refreshments_tea,coffee and cold water to all customers.If you have not been before we have a 'Hubby's Hideaway' with sky sports and newspapers for men to chill out while you shop...keeps them quiet.
We do have toilet facilities and parking right by the door, well worth a visit.
Please note we are no longer in Oswaldtwistle Mills but just a few minutes down the road ,across from the railway station.

scorching day.

Wow! I'm out on my patio topping up my tan on this beautiful day.
Now why can't England be like this more often? With more sun it would be perfect.
I really must work on my designs for my new collection today but a little tanning first won't harm.
In fact I'm a little worse for wear this morning- for the first time in years I went out to a nightclub with my 2 best friends Reece and Jerry,
We danced our feet off and had a few too many tipples- so recovery in the sun is ideal!
I'm certainly getting used to this more chilled lifestyle.
But will make up for it later!

I escaped the volcanic ash cloud.

I'm home! Only just.... Was told all uk airports were closed down yesterday, and I could not get home!
Not that I would complain about another week in a sunny climate! However work is calling and I've got to pay for my sunny trips somehow!
I was so worried I would get caught up in an airport for hours on end or stuck in some strange place. But they opened manchester just in time for us to land, thank goodness.
4am I was home in bed, slept until 12.00 and now getting redy for the off. Exciting day ahead, will be busy, busy. Newly topped up tan and seemed to have lost a few more pounds with all that swimming.
I definately need to do this more often. Although I have brought some sunshine back with me.

quick break.

Hello everyone,
Just a quick note, I've managed to get away for a quick sunshine break.
Determined to have more me time this year, life is too short and we all must enjoy it to the full.
That's my new mindset, you will see me back on your screens on monday night at midnight for thge launch of a brand new collection from Kanban.
I will be relaxed and tan topped up.

mission impossible

Well, we did it! I collapsed in a heap on the sofa last night- but what a fabulous weekend we had.
My feet and legs still aching from all the dancing on saturday night. We certainly danced our little feet off- my blisters proved that!
Thank you everyone for all there hard work, my team guests and all of you attendees. I know I crack the whip but see what you have acheived?
Well I'm going to take a few days to rest so Amy will be on your screens tomorrow. I will be back on the 17th for Tsv and lots of crafting hours!

Residential Day.

Today's the day, been a very busy week getting everything ready. Too many late nights but it will be worth it in the end. I know many of you will already be travelling down or just setting off. Dont forget all your tools and competition entries....
All my staff are getting excited too, they love these events- even though they are such hard work and stressful to pull together. We will all be ready for our welcome drink tonight.
I hope your ready for some hard work, you all know im a bit of a slave driver... you come to learn and thats what i plan. Party night saturday night so you will need your dancing shoes too.....
its going to be fun,fun,fun...

Happy Bank Holiday.

Morning Everyone,
I have had a busy few days getting organised for my residential and spending time with Jerry my dear friend who is 40 this week!
We had a few hours out shopping on saturday and a nice white wine spritzer. I had a little treat on a new outfit for his party! Was thrilled I could fit in so many fabulous outfits, makes shopping so much more pleasant.
I was stood studying myself in the mirror- thinking wow is that really me?!
Where did all the lumps and bumps go to? I need to keep that feeling to keep those chocolate bars at bay....
I then had a lazy night on the sofa watching tv and ended up sleeping in until 12 noon on sunday! Couldn't believe it! Think it was all the late nights prepping last week caught up with me.
Today I'm working this morning , then meeting up with a friend for dinner and a chat.
6am start to london tomorrow so can't be too late!

By the way my wonderful dentist Miss Potts rescued my tooth, thank goodness! Because I had gone so quick, no decay or build up.Refilled, no jabs and I was out. Yaah... been aching a bit since but intact
See being brave paid off.
